Originally from NY, Dani knew she wanted to become a hairstylist when she was just 6 years old. Sitting in a salon, crying like the baby she was, all the stylists in the salon gathered around and made her feel pretty and happy. She knew then and there that a hair salon (2nd only to Disneyland) was the happiest place on earth. Trained with an educator from Vidal Sasson Academy from London, Dani competed nationally and worked for 4 1/2 years as a National Platform Artist. She created educational videos for cuts and colors as well as being featured in several hair styling magazines, like Modern Salon and Passions. Always seeking to work in a salon that had bright natural light, good energy, drama-free staff, but always finding something missing…she created Trim a salon.

Orit is a born and raised LA girl who’s been working at Trim a Salon since 2016. She would always do her friends hair in high school and knew that was the career path she wanted to pursue after graduating. She studied at Paul Mitchell the School in 2014 and is continuously learning the newest techniques and trends that are in. Orit always says there is nothing more rewarding than seeing clients leave happy with their hair and how happy it makes us hairdressers to make such a positive impact on our clients. She makes sure her clients have a great experience from when they walk in to the moment they leave and caters to providing the look they want while having it be personalized to them. 

Master Artist, Nadirah Volpe is a versatile stylist with  20 years in the industry. A natural artist, she spent her childhood drawing, painting, sewing, and giving her dolls makeovers. Today she is an in-demand L.A. hairdresser, who has build her reputation on her extensive knowledge of styling tradition and exceptional technique. She's done hair for the B 52's and her work has been featured in Modern Salon magazine for two editorial shoots and one feature article. Her work can also be found in American Salon Magazine, Beauty Launchpad, Salon Centric magazine as well as covers for Estetica Mexico and Hot Rod Magazine. She also has worked at several Los Angeles and New York fashion weeks including two years as lead stylist for Betsey Johnson. 

Valerie is an Aveda graduate and has been licensed for 6 years. She has recently moved to Los Angeles from Columbus, OH. She has participated in styling for Columbus Fashion week and Alternative fashion week focusing on braids and ponytail extentions. Her passions are Fashion/ Fantasy colors and lived in colors like foilyage and balayage. She also loves to do classic blowouts (as you can tell from the beautiful example from her photo since she has naturally very curly hair)- and offers Brazilian Blowouts for those who want less frizz or curl at home!

Leslie, being a native Angeleno, has always had a passion for hair. With the determination to become a hairstylist, she sought education at Paul Mitchell the School in Sherman Oaks where she was taught all the current techniques in cutting and coloring. Since she started working at Trim a salon in 2018, she has always asked questions to broaden her knowledge on hair. Her diligence and love of the craft is definitely apparent in the way she works with every client she encounters. She makes sure to make her clients feel special, equal and leave with a smile on their face! 

After spending a few years in college pursuing a career in the medical field, Candice decided to take a break and soul search. She found herself working as a receptionist at a nail salon and during her time there, she discovered her passion for all things beauty. After leaving the salon, she looked into different beauty schools in her area and fell in love with the culture at the Paul Mitchell the School in Sherman Oaks. Even as a student, she sought to educate herself in the industry outside of school. And so she applied for an apprenticeship at Trim a salon and had been assisting during her time as a student. Upon graduating from Paul Mitchell and getting licensed, she immediately transitioned from being an apprentice to being Trim a salon’s first Junior Stylist. She loves to challenge herself and work on major transformations, like vivid (fashion) color work. When she’s not at Trim a salon, she’s out and about working on set for photo shoots and commercials as a nail artist.

Tony Cuenca's passion for hairstyling began at an early age, working at the Wella Sebastian studio in Woodland Hills where he honed his skills and perfected his technique. His commitment and years of experience have led him to work on fashion shows and photo shoots, mentor his peers, and share his exceptional talent and expertise with a list of loyal clients that appreciate his attention to detail. Most importantly though, his aesthetics finds inspiration in each client.    “I love to dedicate time on each and every client to design a color and haircut that compliments their personal style, bringing their beauty to the foreground with a fresh approach”

 Since 2010, Alisa had been specializing in cuts, colors and styles, believing in simplicity in the art of hair, yet valuing other individuals' culure and styles. She has trained with YSL and Georgio Armani beauty, but she's mostly known for her transparancy, humourous and loveable nature which compliments sophistication and confidence in delivering her services. Alisa continues to educate herself by attending conventions and networking in the field of beauty and hair. Most importantly, she listens and is attentive to each clients input valuing honest and heartfelt suggestioins to help her improve her work. Her motivation is to enhance others self-confidence and put a smile on everyone's face.
